A 49-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a fight at his home in the Brighton Park neighborhood Friday afternoon, Chicago police said.
Police said shortly before 4:45 p.m., the victim was involved in a fight with a known person in the 4200 block of Southern California Boulevard, and the person attacked him with a knife.
Police said the victim suffered a stab wound to his right groin and was found unresponsive in the kitchen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Saturday morning, the victim had not been identified, although the family had been notified.
There was no one in custody and detectives were investigating.
