Chicago Bears add Meka White Morris to manager role

The Chicago Bears hired Meka White Morris on Thursday as their new vice president of revenue and chief operating officer.

Morris joins the Bears from the Minnesota Twins, where he also served as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Morris’ arrival continues the renewal of the Bears executive team under President and CEO Kevin Warren, whose one-year anniversary with the team is in April. Born in Boston, Morris started his career as a ticket sales manager for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2004. Prior to the Twins, he worked for the Oakland Raiders, Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets), Learfield, Legends Hospitality, Live Nation Entertainment and ISM Connect. and Tappit.

The Bears hired Ruff in 2016 to help build out their business analytics department. He previously worked in the NBA’s team marketing and business operations department.
