Murders reported in Dixmoor, Riverdale – Chicago Tribune

Homicide cases were recently reported by the Cook County medical examiner’s office in Dixmoor and Riverdale.

Deslyn McGraw, 31, of the 100 block of West 155th Street in Harvey, Dixmoor, was shot multiple times in the 14600 block of South Leavitt Avenue in Dixmoor, according to the office.

He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn shortly after 11 p.m. on Feb. 12, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the office.

Derrick Horne Jr. of Riverdale, of the 14500 block of South Union Avenue, according to the office. (45) was shot in the abdomen in the 14300 block of South Lowe Boulevard in Riverdale.

He was pronounced dead at 7:43 p.m. Feb. 9 at UChicago Medical Center at Ingalls Memorial in Harvey, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the office.

Dixmoor and Riverdale police did not respond to calls seeking more information about the murders.
