One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting outside a southwest suburban bar early Saturday morning. A suspect was detained.
Police responded to 7947 W. 47th St. in McCook for a report of a disturbance. He intervened in the parking lot of the All-Star Bar & Grill located at. Officers found two men about a half-block away who had been shot multiple times, McCook police said in a statement.
Both victims were taken to Loyola Hospital. One man was pronounced dead on arrival and the other man was in critical condition.
