Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and Mayor Brandon Johnson announced on Wednesday most of the food and music programming for the Taste of Chicago in September at Grant Park.
The three-day event will take place from Friday, September 8, through Sunday, September 10, near the Buckingham Fountain in Jackson and Columbus, with approximately 35 vendors and 15 food trucks and three stages of music. Admission is free, vendors accept cash and credit cards (no Taste ticket required). The Goose Island stage sequence, presented in collaboration with the Chicago Independent Venue League, has yet to be announced. All three days include music and dance from the Chicago SummerDance series.
