16-year-old boys accused of shooting during robbery in Bronzeville – Chicago Tribune

Chicago police say two teenage boys are accused of shooting a 19-year-old woman during an armed robbery in the Bronzeville neighborhood in January.

The teenage boys were both charged as juveniles in a robbery of a woman that occurred Jan. 15 in the 800 block of East 46th Street. Police said the boys shot the victim after taking the woman’s property.

One of the juveniles was charged with attempted first-degree murder, robbery with a firearm, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon while driving. The other boy was charged with attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery, police said.

The teenage boys were arrested Wednesday in the 300 block of East Garfield Avenue.
