Chicago police say two teenage boys have been charged as juveniles in connection with an armed robbery in the Little Village neighborhood.
The teenage boys were taken into custody Friday afternoon after they were identified as two of the suspects who robbed a 14-year-old boy at gunpoint in the 2600 block of South Hamlin Boulevard.
The teenage boys were each charged with robbery with a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a person under 21 years of age. The older teen was also charged with possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.
The young men were scheduled to attend a juvenile detention hearing on Saturday.
