‘Hamilton’ will have $10 daily ticket lottery in Chicago

Alongside the return of the “Hamilton” musical to Chicago is the #HAM4HAM ticket lottery.

A digital lottery of $10 discounted tickets will be on sale for each performance, according to an announcement Thursday from show producer Jeffrey Seller and Chicago’s Broadway (host of the national tour’s upcoming fall production Loop).

“Hamilton” will play at the Nederlander Theater (24 W. Randolph St.) from September 13 to December 30, and regular tickets are currently on sale at: www.broadwayinchicago.com. Here’s how it works:

• A limited number of $10 tickets will be on sale for the shows, the first of which is September 13.
• Registration for tickets for the shows on September 13-17 will open at 10 am on September 1 and close at noon on September 7. Subsequent draws will begin at 10am on Fridays and end at noon on Thursdays for the following week’s performances.
• Enter using the “Hamilton” app (hamiltonmusical.com).
• Notifications for next week’s performances will be sent via email and mobile notification between 13:00 and 16:00 on Thursdays. Winners will have two hours to claim and pay for their ticket(s).
• Each winning participant can purchase a maximum of two tickets. Only one entry per person. Duplicate logins and disposable email addresses will be deleted. Users must be 18 years or older and have a valid photo ID. Tickets are not transferable.
• Tickets purchased will be available for sale by searching the Nederlander box office two hours before the show.
