The Blue Devils got defensive and avenged an earlier loss by holding Lake Forest to three points in the first quarter of a 57-39 North Suburban Conference win.

2. Lake Forest 20-6 (1)

While Efe Yardimci scored 14 of his 18 points in the third quarter of the Scouts’ NSC win against Lake Zurich, their loss against Warren ended their nine-game winning streak.

3. Stevenson 18-8 (3)

Rocco Pagliocca He’s averaging 13.0 points and 5.0 assists in the Patriots’ last three games and plays solid defense.

4. Lake Zurich 18-7 (4)

Anton Strelnikov had 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists, and Ryan Carroll also scored 17 points in the Bears’ NSC win against Mundelein.

Trey Roberts and Adrian Serrano combined for 25 points in the Bulldogs’ win against Maine West.

Braeden Carlsen and the Bulldogs control their destiny in the Northern Lake County Conference and enter the weekend with two men to play at the front of the field.

9. Grayslake Central 17-9 (6)

Player of the Week

Senior forward Thomas Mercure averaged 15.0 points in three games, including a game-high 18 points in the Lakes’ 54-43 Northern Lake County Conference victory over Grayslake Central on Tuesday.
