Oak Forest police are investigating the shooting of a 38-year-old man in the 15700 block of Lake Drive early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to a report of shots fired at 2:58 a.m. and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds in the entrance hall of an apartment building, the department said in a press release.
Police performed life-saving measures until paramedics arrived and took the man to hospital, where he was described as being in serious condition.
