Thieves made off with currency exchange ATM overnight – Chicago Tribune

Chicago police responded to a currency exchange overnight on the South Side where an ATM machine was stolen.

Shortly after 3:15 a.m., police found the front glass door of a currency exchange office in the 2500 block of South Halsted Street broken and an ATM missing.

Police stated that in the preliminary investigation, the thieves may have fled the scene in a silver sedan.

Detectives are investigating.
