South Holland police said Monday they were conducting a death investigation after two family members were found dead Sunday in their home in the 900 block of East 161st Street.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified them as 30-year-old Ann Turner and 83-year-old James Boyd, who were pronounced dead just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Autopsies were scheduled for Monday.
Police said they believe the deaths were an isolated incident based on the limited information available.
