Two teens making threats arrested, driving sedan on golf course – Chicago Tribune

domestic battery

A 33-year-old Park Ridge man was arrested on a charge of domestic battery on March 10 at 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of South Vine Boulevard.

Crime of entering a vehicle without permission

Video footage shows an unidentified man getting into an unlocked 2022 Subaru and a 2021 Subaru in the 1300 block of Linden Boulevard around 4:54 a.m. on Feb. 28. The suspect entered both vehicles through the driver’s door, but nothing appeared to be missing.

A customer discovered a card scanning device at the Jewel Osco Huntington Bank ATM at 481 Busse Highway on March 1 at 10:38 a.m. The machine had previously been serviced on February 23 and did not appear to have been tampered with.

Theft

Park Ridge police responded to an alarm at HQ Shoes at 137 N. Northwest Highway and discovered the back door had been forced open at 3:32 a.m. March 5. He discovered that the property had been taken over by an unknown criminal.

Theft under $500

On March 5, a victim’s belongings were removed from his locker at FFC Park Ridge, 826 W. Touhy Blvd.

The owner of HQ Shoes contacted Park Ridge police on March 5 at 10:56 p.m. The owner showed them security footage of two unidentified men trying to break in through the back door. Both subjects were wearing masks and gloves. One of the criminals had a yellow surveillance device and the other had a large yellow bag. Both attackers left the area before police arrived.

Criminal damage to property

An unknown criminal drove a gray sedan onto the Park Ridge Country Club golf course, causing damage to multiple sections of the course, then fled the scene at 846 N. Fairview Boulevard around 10:45 a.m. on March 7.

erratic behavior

A 16-year-old Niles juvenile was arrested at 8:24 a.m. March 4 for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct for threatening people and a building in the 7300 block of West Crain Street in Niles.

A 17-year-old Des Plaines youth was arrested for disorderly conduct for threatening people and a building in the 4900 block of Cermak Avenue in Cicero on March 6 at 8:20 p.m.

Violation of protection order

A 42-year-old Maywood man was arrested for violating a protective order in the 600 block of Devon Avenue on March 4 at 2:55 p.m.

Driving with a suspended license

A 27-year-old Skokie woman was arrested at 8:25 a.m. March 9 in the 2300 block of Dempster Avenue in Des Plaines for driving on a suspended license. The woman also had expired license plates.

A 35-year-old man from Meridian, Mississippi, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on March 9 in the 1500 block of Higgins Road for driving with a suspended license and speeding 21-25 mph over the limit.

Illegal possession of marijuana

A 28-year-old man from River Grove was arrested at 2:52 p.m., March 9, in the 1700 block of West Dempster Street for illegal possession of marijuana and improper use of a turn signal.
