Court records show a Winfield man was charged Tuesday with possessing child pornography on his iPhone.
Harminder Singh-Heera, 23, is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.
He posted an $8,000 bond on Wednesday.
Singh-Heera knew the victim of an unrelated crime. Northwest Indiana Major Crimes Task Force detectives wrote that they found two videos when Singh-Heera gave police permission to search his phone on Feb. 28, 2023, in their case.
Both photos depict girls performing “sex acts” with adult men, the affidavit states. Their identities were unknown.
His next hearing has not yet been scheduled.
