Kris Jenner has a new term: “Twist on it.”
The driven matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family will highlight this phrase during her commercial at the Super Bowl. On February 11, he will make a cameo appearance in a commercial for Oreo, which will return him to the NFL’s biggest stage in a decade for the first time in a decade.
Jenner, who will appear in her first Super Bowl commercial, said, “I come from a generation where, for some of us, everything is about advertising.” “I love football, but I’m not as interested in it as some of my boyfriends or kids. That’s why it’s always so exciting to wait for ads to air and see what brands come up with. “That was always a part of my brain.”
Jenner isn’t sure if he’ll watch the Kansas City Chiefs-San Francisco 49ers game at home or travel to Las Vegas to watch it in person. Either way, he and his family and friends will be on the lookout for a cameo in the commercial, which will take viewers back to the mid-2000s.
A flashback sees her twisting the cookie before making the decision to take her family into the world of reality television. It was a move that ultimately propelled them to superstardom.
“The concept was so fun and entertaining and really reflected my quirky sense of humor,” said Jenner, who starred in her family’s first reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which debuted in 2007. The success of the show led to several spin-off companies before the family signed a deal with Hulu for “The Kardashians.”
In her family, Jenner said, her daughter Khloé Kardashian came up with the idea of putting each member’s favorite cookies in a jar in the kitchen. She said her and Khloe’s preferred cookie would be double-stuffed Oreo.
Jenner said she wouldn’t mind appearing in another commercial.
“I’m so excited to do this,” he said. “This is so much fun. It’s such a part of my family’s history. We’ve been enjoying these cookies for decades. It’s such an honor.”
