NBA odds, best bets for Wednesday – Chicago Tribune

[ad_1]

Both the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers will face off at the United Center on Wednesday night without rest.

Cleveland achieved its most exciting win of the season after defeating the Mavericks 121-119 on Tuesday, with Max Strus’ shot at the buzzer from beyond half court.

However, the Cavaliers failed to become four-point favorites and suffered their sixth consecutive defeat against the spread.

Chicago shot just 2-of-29 from 3-point range in a 105-95 loss to Detroit on Tuesday. The Bulls failed to become 10-point favorites, but Billy Donovan’s side are 4-2 against the spread in their last six opportunities in the underdog role.

While the Cavaliers have lost five of eight games this season without rest, he lost his last opportunity in that role last week in Philadelphia.

The Bulls fell short in the second leg of a back-to-back set at 4-5, but Chicago won four of its last five games after falling short of 100 points in the previous contest.

Cleveland looks to beat Chicago as a nine-point favorite at home after defeating the Bulls 108-105 before the All-Star break.

The Cavs have won their last seven meetings with the Bulls since the start of the 2022-23 season, while the underdogs have won all three meetings this season.

After a terrible showing on Tuesday night, it’s easy to think the Bulls will shoot better from downtown, but the Cavaliers can’t afford to lose a game while they’re right behind the Bucks in the Western Conference.

Let’s put the points on the road with the Cavaliers to continue their dominance over the struggling Bulls.

To choose: Cavaliers -5.5 (-110 on FanDuel)
